ROUNDDOWN function

Syntax

ROUNDDOWN(number, places)

Arguments

x: number to be rounded
d: places after the decimal point (optional)

Description

Rounds x down (i.e. towards zero) to the nearest number with d decimal places. If d is not specified, 0 is assumed, i.e. the number will be rounded down to the nearest integer. If d is negative it specifies places on the left of the decimal point (-1: tens, -2: hundreds, ...).
